My Process
1.BOOK YOUR SESSION
Book your session time on my calendar and I will be in contact with you to confirm your session appointment. If you have any questions in the meantime, please use the contact form.
2.FILL OUT THE SESSION QUESTIONNAIRE
I will send you a questionnaire to fill out regarding your upcoming session. Tell me everything about who you are and the story you want to share with the world!
3.Picture time
Lights, Camera, Action!
We will meet at the location of your choosing. Plan to be there about 15 minutes ahead just to make sure everyone is relaxed and ready to shine!
4.Delivering photos
Once the session is over, I will begin working on downloading and editing your photos within 24 hours. I currently have a minimum 72 hour turnaround.
FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
First off, you don't need to worry! I'll guide you every step of the way. You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands and it's totally normal to feel nervous and awkward at first. I'll walk you through poses, keep the session relaxed and focus on capturing natural moments. I particularly love to let kids be kids and I don't give them too much direction. I will typically intersperse posed and candid photos.
Neutral, soft colors photograph best, but you need to wear what makes you comfortable and confident! Just arrive ready to have fun and everything else will be taken care of.
Are certain times of day better to have a session?
Photography doesn't have a start and stop time. If you're living life, my camera can capture the moments. If you're looking for golden hour, you're going to want to book a session around 2 hours prior to sunset. Basically it's up to you and your individual needs.
Can you recommend any good locations?
If you don't have a location in mind, we can decide that together. I look for spots with beautiful light, open space and natural backdrops. Parks and other outdoor areas make great locations. I'm happy to explore new locations or photograph you somewhere that is meaningful to you and your story.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Cloudy is fine, rain is not (unless you are going for that vibe). I am super flexible and we will reschedule at a time beneficial to everyone involved..

What if my kids are just not into it/cranky/tired/etc?
Many times I can get kids out of a slump and we can take breaks, have some snacks/drinks to see if anything improves. If not, there's no need to have them be miserable and we can break the session into two parts and finish another day. No worries, it happens!
do you do sessions outside of central florida?
Sure! I'd be willing to chat, just send me a message.
Can I bring props or things of importance to my session?
Of course! Just let me know what you're thinking about bringing so I can mentally prepare for those special poses.
How long until i RECEIVE my photos?
I like to give myself a minimum of 72 hours to go through all of your photos, one by one and curate the best images. Between 3-7 days is a safe answer, but I love creating photo galleries so much that I'm probably going to deliver them sooner than you expect.
